2. What is treatment like?

First, the practitioner will collect as much information as possible regarding your health condition. This will include taking a detailed case history and other physical exams as necessary.


The information is to help the practitioner decide which therapeutic methods will bring the patient the most benefit. Methods include medical acupuncture, insertion of fine needles in specific points on the body.
