Application process fees

Students may add the nonrefundable fee of $ 250.00 for the application process and also in case of quitting just if it is before starting the classes all amount ( exept non refundable part) is payable but after starting the class .

Tuition Payment

Tuition is due in full by 6:00 pm on the same date one month prior to the beginning of the new term. Students with special needs may arrange for a two payment plan with a $10.00 fee for each installment if they are unable to pay in full at the time of registration. A postdated cheque for the second payment must be submitted together with the first payment. The second payment is due before 6:00 pm on the same date one month after the begins. A late fee applies for overdue payment. The student may be suspended if payment is not received within two weeks of the payment due date. Returned cheques will incur a fee in addition to the late fee. International students pay full tuition on an annual basis. The amount is calculated according to the program enrolled and the course schedule listed in the catalog. Payment is due at the time of registration for new students and one month prior to the beginning of the year for continuing students. Additional courses taken during the year must be paid in full before the registration date of each term. Students must pay the full course tuition if it is not taken as scheduled unless special permission is obtained in writing from the Academic Standards Committee. The issuance of any certificate, diploma, credit or transcript for any course or for clinical training will only occur after the student's financial obligations have been completely met.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

A student who wishes to terminate enrollment or withdraw from courses must do so in writing. Refunds will be issued after the 10th week of the term. Students who cancel enrollment before the end of the fifth week of the term will be given tuition refunds based on the refund policy. No refund is issued after the fifth week of the term for domestic students. No refund is issued after payment for international students.

Official Receipt for Tax Credit

The Canadian College of Avicenna is a continuing education college Tuition receipts are issued after the tenth week of each term.

Financial Assistance

Prospective applicants to Canadian College of Avicenna are responsible for all financial support required for the completion of the program. We regret that government student financial assistance through programs such as OSAP is not available to our students at the present time. However, private financial institutions may offer personal loans to students who qualify. Additionally, some students may qualify for funding from the Second Career Program in Ontario.
